What an interesting and inspiring read Brent. You came, you saw and you conquered! You did an awesome achievement to not only finish a 100km event, but to do it in little over 24 hours. This is something you will treasure in your memory for life! A fantastic job by your crew, which is an extremely important role. You make me feel motivated to give it ago myself one day 😱(maybe)! 💕 LOL!

Thank you Kerron, I'm a little annoyed the wrong turn cost me sub 24 hours haha, but in the scheme of things it makes a good story! My crew were incredible, any person attempting these events without one are incredible, I'd back you to do it Kerron, enough training and self believe goes a very long way, thank you for taking the time to read :)

Very well done mate. What a journey you have come through like back pain and tired legs, so much elevation but despite you have finished in style. Now you might have improved more mental strength. I was checking your progress in UTMB Live and Prayed that you should cross the finish line. Really amazing efforts..right from 3am running before our R4R Friday runs and your night runs in Mulligans flat... Great effort to make your dream come true. Very Inspiring Friend.

Thank you my brother. I felt all the hopes of everyone pushing me along. It was incredibly powerful and one of the reasons I found that little bit extra to get home.

Thank you Mim! Sounds like a plan, I got my hunger back yesterday and it hit like a Mack Truck, devoured a huge snack pack and then had a craving for a greek salad and chicken for dinner, balance is key as they say!

I have loved following your journey and watching your dot move along the trail and I was so excited to see you cross the finish line. Well done Brent. Bask in the glory of this axing adventure

Thank you Suze! You've done the marathon, so in theory you're not too far away from an ultra at all :D I kept a lot of people up a lot longer than they probably should've, just had to keep it interesting haha. I think I'll enjoy this race for a long, long time to come :)

What an epic and emotional read! Thanks for sharing Brent! Congratulations on finishing. It's funny, Julian saw me on Tuesday and I checked up on both of you and saw you were close to each other and wondered if you had met haha. You blog answered my question :)

Again Canberra is so small! That was a good little section, as there was a few of us trying to keep our races together. We probably found each other at the right time.

Thank you for taking the time out to give it a read!
